About The Position

Now Hiring: Assisted Living Memory Care Community We are looking for a dependable and caring Laundry Attendant to join our team in a warm, supportive memory care community. This role is essential in helping our residents feel comfortable, dignified, and well cared for. Position Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents’ clothing and linens while maintaining a clean, organized laundry area. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily comfort and well-being of our residents.

Requirements

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Ability to lift and carry laundry loads and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior care or memory care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and properly label residents’ clothing and facility linens
• Sort laundry according to care instructions and infection-control guidelines
• Return clean laundry to residents’ rooms in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment
• Report lost, damaged, or stained items to the supervisor
• Follow safety, sanitation, and confidentiality policies
• Interact kindly and respectfully with residents and staff
