Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive Housekeeper --- JOB SUMMARY The Laundry Attendant at Caravan Court facilitates the cleaning and processing of the sheets, towels, pillowcases, comforters, pillows, rags, robes, and blankets. --- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS · Operational Responsibilities o Load and program washers to appropriate linen type § All loads are weighed and recorded o Dry all loads to designated drying level o Fold all linen and terry according to hotel guidelines o Reclaim soiled linen to achieve 90% reclaim percentage o Maintain a productivity level per hotel guidelines o Monitor chemical usage to ensure maximum efficiency § Record weekly chemical usage § Change chemicals as needed · Guest Services o Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions o Be proactive when attending to guests · Team Support and Training o Attend and contribute to department meetings o Participate in cross training o Complete all required trainings · Communication and Reporting o Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly o Run all reports necessary to the operation o Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists o Log all work in appropriate platforms · Safety & Compliance o Adhere to all safety and security guidelines
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
- Minimum one year prior hotel laundry experience
- No minimum education requirements required
Responsibilities
