Laundry Attendant
About The Position
Hampton Inn Buffalo-Airport/Galleria Mall is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join their team. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 Years Experience in hotel housekeeping
- Customer service skills and team player
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for 8 hour shift
- Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs loading linen into machines
Nice To Haves
- Hotel Experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Tends laundering machines to clean articles, such as sheets, towels and other linen.
- Inspects linen to locate stained or torn items. Records counts for discarded linen.
- Folds, stacks and places towels, sheets and other linen in appropriate storage bins.
- Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
