About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is a crucial element to the success of Coury Hospitality. This position will be responsible for the cleaning and folding of laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for the maintenance of laundry equipment and other duties around the facility. The Laundry Attendant will be the first line in ensuring that all textiles, linens, and other laundered items are well cared for and maintained.

Requirements

• Desirable: fluency in English
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to be well groomed, clean, and neat.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
• Great customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit. Ability to calculate effectively using basic arithmetic skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sorting, washing, drying and folding linens and other textile items.
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and chemicals.
• Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
• Ensuring that the facility always remains clean.
• Anticipating and responding to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints
• Assist fellow laundry attendants in loading and unloading laundry washers and dryers.
• Provide various other laundry services if required.
