About The Position
THEW NEW! RESIDENCE INN CLAREMONT IS HIRING FOR A LAUNDRY ATTENDANT THAT ENSURES EVERY GUEST EXPERIENCES THE COMFORT OF CLEAN, FRESH LINENS. THIS ROLE EMBODIES THE HOTELS’ DEDICATION TO EXCELLENCE, CONSISTENCY, AND GUEST SATISFACTION. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing all hotel linens and terry. This position ensures that clean linens are available to all departments in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining the Hotels’ standards of quality. New Property, Opening Spring, 2026!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Regular exposure to heat and humidity from laundry equipment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Adherence to safety and PPE guidelines required.

- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort linens and terry according to fabric type and soil level.
- Inspect and remove stained or damaged items from circulation.
- Deliver clean linens to storage areas or floors as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures.
