The role of Laundry is Attendant to ensures that all linen is properly washed, dried, cleaned, restocked and all closets are maintained with proper pars. To operate all laundry equipment and maintain a safe environment . The Radisson Hotel Seattle Airport, located across the street from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), is looking for looking for an energetic individual to our Housekeeping team as a Laundry Attendant. Our Housekeeping Team is at the heart of what we do! This position requires availability day and weekend/holiday shifts.   • Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel's linen supply
  • Sorts laundry prior to washing
  • Pulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washing
  • Loads washers and dryers to recommended weights
  • Follows proper settings and procedures for all equipment
  • Monitors usage of water to maximize consumption
  • Informs supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortage
  • Presses and folds linens and uniforms properly according to garment labels, stacks or stores and required
  • Completes inventory of stock as requested
  • Ensures the rotation with the team members regarding the machines, folding and removing and placing linen in the machine or on carts.
  • Maintains knowledge of and complies with all department policies
  • Maintains cleanliness of laundry room and equipment
  • Works the required schedule which can be varied based on business demand
  • Uses equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel's safety procedures
  • Adheres to all health, sanitation and safety rules and procedures
  • Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems
  • Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
  • Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
  • Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one -year hospitality experience in laundry or dry cleaning
  • Follows instructions and communicates effectively

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the hotel
  • Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of times
