About The Position

Washing and folding, sorting and organizing laundry action items as outlined by Laundry Supervisor

Requirements

• Be able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Lifting and moving items up to 60 pounds
• Pushing / Pulling up to 60 pounds
• Be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for majority of shift.
• Use of arms / hands in manual dexterity functions to operate laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the highest possible hygiene and finish standard of linens are maintained at all times.
• Monitors wash formulas and use of washroom chemicals in order to maintain linen quality and stocking with the various soaps and products.
• Inspect, check for stains, rips, or tears on items of laundry and separate accordingly.
• Operating, loading and unloading dryers, ensure proper care when using equipment.
• Unload and load trucks with linen as needed
• Neatly fold and bag laundry
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility to ensure a safe and compliant work space
