About The Position

Inspects all linen received for special handling requirements or discard. Sorts linens in preparation for washing. Loads washer according to specifications. Loads dryers according to specifications. Folds and stacks bed linen utilizing the two-fold method. Folds and stacks other linen according to specifications. Maintains laundry area and equipment so it is clean and orderly. Maintains an organized linen storage for ease in issuance and inventory. May load laundry chemicals May gather linen from Room Attendant’s carts as needed. May be requested to clean guest rooms as needed. Performs any other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
