About The Position

The Blue Kangaroo Laundry Attendant position is responsible for assisting customers with equipment operation, laundering clothes for the drop-off laundry service, and performing various essential duties to maintain the store's cleanliness and operations. This role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency. The attendant will also be responsible for accurate cash handling, inventory management of over-the-counter products, and reporting/tagging out-of-order equipment. The company, Dexter Services, Inc. (DSI), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Employee Owned Brands, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company. DSI operates various services within the commercial laundry industry, including Dexter Retail Services, which manages the Blue Kangaroo chain of vended laundries in Chicagoland, Northern Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin. Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures for Attendants.
• Meet cleaning standards for Store on a consistent basis.
• Handle cash drawer accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for Store OTC products.
• Fulfill all duties of Drop-off Laundry Service.
• Responsible for reporting, testing and properly tagging equipment out of order.
• Take ownership in our business results and your personal wellness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist customers in equipment operation.
• Launder clothes for drop-off laundry service.
• Perform essential duties.
