About The Position

Summary of Duties: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards. Position Purpose: Provide the highest level of service to guests by ensuring guest linens are kept clean an in excellent condition according to established standards.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
  • Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
  • Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry and fold all room linens and towels.
  • Safely and appropriately use soaps, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Clean laundry equipment such as vent screens, lint filters and drain traps.
  • Maintain and rotate a supply of clean linens and towels.
  • Maintain and restock housekeeping cart daily.
  • Maintain inventory of linens, towels, soaps, and chemicals.
  • Maintain daily linen discard log.
  • Keep the laundry room and storage rooms clean and organized.
  • Bring all lost and found items to the housekeeping office for logging and storage.
  • Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
  • Report maintenance concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Wear personal protective equipment when cleaning rooms, soiled linens, and bathrooms.
  • Practice established safety standards at all times.
  • Participate as a team member with other employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of customer service.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed policies and practices.
  • Adhere to the strict confidentiality of all information.
  • Respect and protect the confidential and privileged information of my employer beyond the terms of my employment.
