About The Position
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of laundry-related tasks to ensure hospital linens, uniforms, and other washable items are cleaned, sanitized, and ready to use. This role is essential in maintaining a steady supply of clean linens and supporting infection control in the hospital.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and cleanliness of linens.
- Ability to lift and move heavy laundry loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment and safety procedures preferred.
- Previous experience in a laundry or lien service setting preferably in healthcare of hospitality setting.
- This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
