About The Position

The Hampton Inn Brookfield/Milwaukee is looking for a full-time, Laundry Attendant to provide exceptional laundry services. A typical day for a Laundry Attendant at the Hampton Inn includes sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing all hotel laundry. You might find stains that need to be specially treated. You will need to be comfortable using an industrial grade washer and dryer.

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens and separate for laundering or pre-soak
• Launder linens and towels accordingly
• Fold and stack linens by size and type
• Stock carts with linens, towels, and cleaning rags
• Restock storage areas with linens and notify housekeeping supervisor of any low inventory
• Maintain the organization of the laundry room
• Polish washer and dryer at end of day
• Sweep and mop floor at end of shift
