Position Summary: The Laundry Attendant is responsible with ensuring clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel. Requirements
- Experience housekeeping, janitorial, or similar in a hotel or commercial environment
- Experience cleaning in a customer focused environment
- Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and responding to requests
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment in laundry area
- Assisting room attendants as needed, stripping rooms, bringing supplies, taking out garbage
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets
- Dusting and polishing furniture
- Emptying trash containers
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Restocking chemicals and/or supplies
- Follow all health and safety rules
- Attends meetings as required
