About The Position

$250 Signing Bonus (After 90-days) Full-Time. Weekends Required. The Courtyard Rochester Downtown, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Laundry Attendant. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens are cleaned to the highest standards. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms are stocked with fresh linens and towels. What are we looking for? Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a hotel laundry or housekeeping role preferred
Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens
Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
Inspect all linens and towels for stains, tears, and damage
Report any damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager
Maintain a clean and organized laundry room
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed
