About The Position

Laundry Attendant GENERAL PURPOSE Cleans and prepares all soiled linen. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES To sort, pretreat, wash and fold all linen. To maintain a clean work area. Secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys and supplies at all times in order to protect and preserve hotel property. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times. Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. May require a clean MVR and active driver's license. OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.

Requirements

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Must possess a minimum of 9th grade reading/writing skills.
• Minimum Age 18+ years old
• May require a clean MVR and active driver's license.
