About The Position

The position involves various tasks related to the handling and maintenance of guest room and Food & Beverage linen. Responsibilities include sorting, weighing, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and stocking linens. The role requires knowledge of operating functions for all equipment used in these processes, with a responsibility to report any damage, hazards, or defective equipment to a supervisor. Additionally, the position involves utilizing chemicals for washing and controlling the quantities of supplies as recommended by the chemical supplier, with the approval of the Executive Housekeeper. Other duties may be assigned as needed, and adherence to Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company Safety Standards is essential.

• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold and stock guest room and Food & Beverage linen
• Know and follow the operating functions of all equipment, reporting any damage, hazards or defective equipment to a supervisor
• Utilize chemicals used in washing, controlling quantities of supplies as recommended by chemical supplier with approval of Executive Housekeeper
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company Safety Standards
