About The Position

Sagewood is seeking a Part-Time Laundry Associate to join its Housekeeping team. Sagewood is a resort-style senior living community located in the beautiful NE Phoenix valley, part of Life Care Services, a premier national provider of senior living. The community offers an all-inclusive lifestyle, superior hospitality, and is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and the Mayo Clinic and Hospital. The Laundry Associate's role is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and sorting clothing and linens.

Requirements

Understand and follow instructions.
Communicate effectively.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Flu Vaccine Required.
If assigned to use a golf cart – must have a current AZ driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Carry out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting etc. of clothing and linens.
Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
Train staff to operate equipment and use supplies safely and effectively.
Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
Conduct inventories of supplies and place orders as needed.
Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
