About The Position
At Travel + Leisure Co., our mission is to put the world on vacation, and as a Laundry Associate, you play a crucial role in making that happen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all bedding and linens are clean and cozy, enhancing the vacation experience for our guests. Families will appreciate your efforts when they wrap themselves in fresh towels after a day of fun or enjoy meals around tables adorned with clean linens. This position is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests expect during their stay. In this role, you will be responsible for processing laundry, which includes loading, operating, and unloading washers and dryers. You will wash, fold, and iron soiled linens, towels, napkins, and tablecloths, ensuring that everything is pristine and ready for use. Safety is paramount, so you will be trained to operate, clean, and maintain all laundry equipment properly. Additionally, you will stock shelves and keep the laundry facility clean and organized. Part of your duties will also involve assisting in monthly linen inventory and preparing and stocking housekeeping carts to ensure that our housekeeping team is well-equipped. Maintaining positive relationships with guests and associates is essential. You will be expected to respond to inquiries and concerns promptly and thoroughly, ensuring that everyone feels valued and heard. This position not only requires technical skills but also a commitment to customer service and teamwork, as you will often work independently or alongside others to achieve our shared goals.
