We’re looking for a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Laundry Aide who takes pride in creating a clean, fresh, and welcoming environment for our residents. 💙 Here, what you do matters — every clean sheet, every fresh towel, every detail helps our residents feel truly at home. Responsible for collecting, cleaning, and distributing residents' linens in a timely, organized manner to ensure that residents' laundry and linen needs are met. Ensure that linens and resident clothing are handled, processed, and stored so as to control the spread of infection or disease.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Patience and desire to work with seniors
Dependable and organized
Well groomed and ability to follow dress requirements
Familiarity with washing and drying clothes

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
General understanding of the needs of seniors

Responsibilities

Use laundry cart to collect dirty laundry from residents' rooms
Wash and dry table, bed and bath linens and resident clothing as scheduled
Ensure that laundry is distributed to its designated residents
Fold or hang clothing for residents when necessary
Notify supervisor when linens, towels, detergents or other supplies are needed
Maintain cleanliness of laundry and storage room
Ensure appropriately labeled designations for towels, washcloths, etc.
Update laundry schedule when a new resident moves in
Understand, supervise, implement, and follow safety and infection control policies and procedures, post chemical safety signs
Assist coworker's with other duties as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor
