About The Position

Laundry Assistant - Part Time 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 32 hours biweekly. One Saturday a month Laundry Assistants participate in the various aspects of laundry processing for residential, personal care, and nursing care residents and for facility laundry as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 16 or older
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads dryers.
• Folds and irons, identifying clothing in need of mending.
• Restocks linen rooms in each household and distributes personal clothing.
• Demonstrates dependability, competence, accuracy and is observant.
• Adheres to compliance policies regarding confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and resident and client rights.
• Complies with regulatory agency standards and applicable policies and procedures.
• Complies with safety and infection control protocols in all aspects of the job.
• Attends in-services and team meetings as required for role.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
