About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry & Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee our housekeeping and laundry operations. The Laundry & Housekeeping Manager is responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the facility, and overseeing all laundry operations. This role requires leadership, organization, and a hands-on approach to daily operations. Requirements

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in housekeeping/laundry operations, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
  • Knowledge of infection control and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations related to infection control and workplace safety
  • Oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure all areas meet facility standards
  • Monitor laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, and distribution of linens
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff performance
  • Address resident or staff concerns regarding cleanliness promptly
  • Maintain accurate records for inspections, staff schedules, and supply usage
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations
