About The Position
Laundry Aide Valley View Retirement Community Full-Time • 6AM - 2PM • 10 days per pay period • Every other weekend/holiday Valley View is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to support the daily operations of our Laundry Department. In this essential role, you will help ensure residents always have a clean, safe, and adequate supply of linens and personal garments. Responsibilities
- Perform daily laundry tasks in accordance with established procedures
- Collect, sort, and weigh soiled linens, garments, and personal items
- Identify and separate items requiring special stain treatment
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Press and iron garments as needed
- Fold, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry and linens to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary laundry environment
- Ensure an adequate supply of linens is available at all times
