About The Position
Spring Arbor Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. Our Laundry Aides play an essential role in ensuring our residents feel at home by providing fresh, clean linens and clothing with care and respect.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to serving seniors.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in laundry, housekeeping, or similar role (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ personal clothing and community linens.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Label and organize residents’ clothing to prevent loss or mix-ups.
- Monitor inventory of linens, towels, and supplies, reporting shortages promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed.
