About The Position
Lenawee Medical Care Facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care to senior patients through a holistic approach. Our facility is designed in mini-communities that create a clean, vibrant, and active environment, fostering an at-home atmosphere tailored to each resident's needs. We offer a range of traditional nursing services, including therapy, hospice care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Our rehabilitative therapy services encompass physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, complemented by therapeutic recreation. Our mission is to deliver quality care that respects each individual, honors their dignity, and promotes the highest level of well-being. We are currently seeking Laundry Aides who are passionate about caring for others, team-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily laundry duties, which include collecting soiled linens from designated areas, processing them (washing, drying, folding, and storing), and ensuring the delivery of clean linens back to all areas. You will also care for the personal clothing items of our elders, which includes mending and labeling. Adherence to safety precautions and proper infection control procedures is essential, as is compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations governing laundry operations.
