About The Position
The Laundry Aide is responsible for monitoring laundering machines to clean various articles such as sheets, towels, rags, wiping cloths, and mops. The role involves loading articles into washers, adding the appropriate cleaning agents, and operating the machines. The aide will lift clean, wet articles from the washer, sort and fold dried items, and ensure they are stored correctly. The position requires adherence to safety and quality standards, as well as participation in departmental performance improvement activities.
