Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and garment preservation
• Sewing and mending skills required
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fully staffed home
• Flexible and willing to travel frequently and for extended periods of time
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of laundry and garment care, including washing, drying, steaming, and pressing
• Handle delicate fabrics and specialty items with proper care
• Perform sewing and mending, including minor alterations and repairs
• Organize closets, wardrobes, and laundry areas
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report needs
• Travel with the household to New York and the Midwest as required
• Work collaboratively with a fully staffed household team
• Provide additional household support when needed to assist the team
