About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a Senior Launch Integration Specialist to support monitoring and facilitating planning for the deployment, upgrade, and replacement of Terrestrial SIGINT collection and processing systems on behalf of our team supporting our customer in Chantilly, VA that delivers mission-critical capabilities directly supporting intelligence-gathering missions from overhead systems. We lead architectural assessments and report recommendations to senior US Government personnel guiding acquisition and execution of next-generation SIGINT systems needs for the next 10-20 years. These systems deliver collected data distributed to US Government Intelligence Community and Military users. The Launch Integration Specialist serves as a technical advisor to support the Government with end-to-end systems including tasking, collection management, collection operations, processing and dissemination components and processes. The SIGINT leadership team embraces innovation in a relentless effort to meet intelligence needs and shorten the timelines to provide actionable critical information to US Government decision-makers. This is a position of trust advising the US Government and supporting critical missions in SIGINT, COMINT, FISINT, and ELINT. This is a contingent position based upon contract award

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Launch and Integration experience of satellite systems and constellations
  • Experience working with developers on launch efforts of unclassified and classified space systems to include Class A, B, and C launches
  • Supports launch and spacecraft on-orbit test as required
  • Familiarity with IC acquisition policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Supports mission integration with various Launch Service providers executing the launch mission integration process
  • Works on all aspects of launch from initial planning meetings through launch operations and Day of Launch
  • Participates in mission working groups, to include: mission integration, ground operations, flight operations, planning/execution, and Day-of-Launch
  • Supports mission program reviews, integrated schedule development/management, rehearsal support, and status reporting
  • Supports launch mission planning tasks and develops key program documentation
  • Supports development of all satellite to launch vehicle interface requirements
  • Reviews and provides technical inputs for key mission documents to include: Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs), Interface Control Documents, (ICDs), and launch base requirements and procedures
  • Tracks all requirements verification documentation in execution of the launch campaign
  • Develops and reviews technical assessments and presentations for senior leadership reviews
