The Launch Excellence Manager will partner with the Automation and Digital Product Management team to drive successful market introductions of upstream and downstream bioprocess equipment. This role combines commercial acumen, customer engagement, and deep technical understanding of automation and digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with sales, product teams, and customers—translating complex capabilities into clear value propositions, shaping go-to-market strategies, and ensuring ongoing support for our customers. This position reports to the Product Strategy Director and is part of the Automation and Digital Product Management organization located in MBO Office. This is an on-site role in Marlborough, MA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in product launch, product management, or sales engineering within the biotech automation space
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in go-to-market planning and execution
  • Deep understanding of automation systems (SCADA, DCS), digital tools (AI/ML), and bioprocess equipment functionality
  • Exceptional communication skills: able to simplify technical concepts and influence diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to travel globally 25-30% of the time supporting, sales, internal team kaizens and our customers
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in launch leadership, product marketing, or strategic sales support
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and managing external partners
  • Strong strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales to define and execute the go-to-market plan for Cytiva-Rockwell automation offerings
  • Support sales in customer discovery sessions, handling technical objections, and articulating business impact
  • Partner with upstream and downstream equipment product teams to align launch timelines and deliverables
  • Create content that scales and supports our global sales teams communicate the value proposition and handle objections in the field independently
  • Track launch metrics, customer feedback, and market trends; drive continuous improvement
