About The Position

The Bartender at Laughlin Event Center is responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service as defined by the company, ensuring proper storage of products at the end of each shift, maintaining correct inventory, and logging inventory as needed. The bartender works independently under the management of the Beverage department and follows all operating procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • At least one year of previous experience in a high-volume bar.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to handle a cash bank.
  • Basic mathematical skills required for cash bank accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of POS system, liquor/soda guns, and mixology.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to abide by company policies and State and Federal laws regarding health, safety, sanitation, and presence of minors in gaming areas.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Pallet Jack and Forklift experience preferred, although training can be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of guest service while observing responsible beverage service.
  • Prepare and deliver requested beverage cocktails and recipes to guests and beverage servers.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors, and line equipment.
  • Receive, issue, and keep necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies.
  • Refill and stock garnishes and glassware.
  • Follow cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures.
  • Maintain stocked supplies and cleanliness of assigned outlet.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
