About The Position
The Latin Substitute Teacher at Valor plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students in the absence of regular Latin teachers. This long-term substitute position requires the individual to step into various capacities, assisting during teacher prep times and fulfilling other duties as assigned by the Substitute Coordinator. The teaching day begins at 7:20 a.m. and concludes at either 3:10 p.m. or 3:30 p.m., depending on the teacher's schedule. The compensation for this role is set at a daily rate of $115, with an increased rate of $150 for long-term assignments. For those working a half-day, which encompasses up to 4.5 hours, the pay is adjusted to half of the daily rate.
