We are seeking dedicated and skilled Lathe machinists to join our Dallas, Oregon team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines for quick-turn prototypes and low/mid-volume production parts. Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. This position is on-site at our Dallas, Oregon location (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- Skills and Experience: Trade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, dependable, self-starter, flexible, and detail-oriented. Enjoys fast-paced, rapidly changing environments. Quality-oriented team player.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs continuously.
- Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
- ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Responsibilities
- CNC Setup and Operation: Teach tools, load programs, and set/adjust work/tool offsets on Haas, Fanuc, and Okuma controls.
- Precision Work: Read prints and inspect parts for conformance to typically +/- .005 tolerance.
- Quality Assurance: Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
