Job Duties: Unloads laser tables and puts parts away in designated areas. Performs quality checks on all parts and fills out QC sheet while unloading table. Coordinates with material handling to ensure parts are being stored correctly and old parts are removed as needed. Coordinates with laser operators for basic machine needs such as 6S tasks, cleaning/changing grates, loading/unloading tables with plates, remnants, or skeletons. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Reports defective tools and equipment. Complies with all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate the Caldwell values in all work activities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent One year of forklift and overhead crane experience. One year material handling or laser experience Proven ability to read a tape measure. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, a plus Ability to use a PC for time collection. Ability to use basic hand tools. Physical Requirements Continuously required to stand and balance, use forearm rotation, and engage in repetitive use of hands. Frequently required to walk; bend, twist, push/pull. Occasionally must squat and kneel; and talk or hear. Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to see with corrected vision to nearly 20/20 to better and to differentiate colors.
