About The Position

Surgical Laser Technicians are responsible for maintaining professional relationships with medical staff and ensuring equipment is operational before, during, and after surgical procedures. Agiliti's Equipment Value Management (EVM) framework helps hospitals reduce wasted spending by integrating equipment workflows, including Clinical Engineering, Onsite Equipment Management, and Rental Services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
  • Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time as well as being able to bend and reach repeatedly.
  • Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
  • May be required to obtain certain vaccinations, or provide proof of current vaccination status, based on customer and/or company requirements, including the COVID-19 vaccination.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
  • Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
  • Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
  • Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
