LASER PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (STARLINK) One of SpaceX's most ambitious missions to date, the Starlink satellite constellation, is our solution for providing reliable internet worldwide. Requirements

• High school degree or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of hands on work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company.
• Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience setting up and running tests and experiments.
• Associate degree.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.

Responsibilities

• Build small electrical sub-assemblies by following work instructions precisely to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Perform optic assembly processes, including epoxy application, UV curing, and oven curing.
• Fiber optic splicing and fiber routing.
• Operate complex automated equipment, including maintenance and some troubleshooting with Engineering guidance.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated, track calibration schedules.
• Work effectively in a clean room environment, strictly adhering to all cleanliness protocols.
• Perform test setups as needed to support developments across several test regimes.
• Manage schedule priorities and independently executing work to meet company deliverables.
