About The Position

The Laser Print Operator will set up, adjust, operate, and troubleshoot digital laser printers. This role is essential in minimizing waste or misuse of raw materials and performing laser print functions by following daily job schedules. The operator will complete different tasks on multiple printers within the assigned shift, keep the work order system up-to-date, ensure quality standards for laser print and finished labels are met, and assist team members in meeting production deadlines. The operator will also place service calls with Xerox for the DP135 and 5252 printers, maintain accurate records of jobs printed, perform distribution functions when needed, and manage inventory levels of preprint items within the production area.

Requirements

• 2 years' previous laser print experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Strong production machine set-up, operating, and troubleshooting experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with and certification for Xerox iGen digital printers and/or Xerox DP series printers.

Benefits

• Hourly rate for this position is $17.27 - $23.03 per hour.
