About The Position

The Laser Operator is responsible for the daily operation of the laser machines, including moving necessary materials to and from the machine. This role involves performing quality checks, completing inspection reports for jobs run on the machine, and ensuring that all tasks are executed according to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks
• Complete inspection reports for jobs ran on machine
• Read blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform typical laser operations
• Troubleshoot quality issues
