Purpose: Set up, program, and operate laser cutting/engraving equipment to produce precise parts, reading blueprints and nesting diagrams to meet tolerances and quality standards.
Requirements
- Typically 1–3 years of laser operation experience
- Ability to read blueprints/GDT
- Use measurement tools
- Work in a team
- Physically able to stand, lift, and handle repetitive tasks
Responsibilities
- Load and secure materials
- Adjust laser settings
- Monitor runs
- Perform quality checks
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance
- Follow safety and lean manufacturing practices
