About The Position
Skilled Manufacturing Assignment to Hire Position – Laser Operator Job Location – Ixonia, WI Starting Date – Immediate Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire Employment Type – Full-Time Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm) Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $20+ per hour + Shift Premium Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent.
- Strong industrial math skills and attention to details.
- Ability to learn tasks, and follow directions, including use of measurement equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust stand-alone laser as needed to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet.
- Remove cut product from sheet steel and sort for processing or finished goods inventory.
- Review shop orders, blueprints, and inspection records to determine process requirements.
- Examine and measure product to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records.
