About The Position

We are working with a well-known, stable client to find an experienced professional with a strong background in both data center development and other large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in environmental permitting, siting, and compliance for data storage and other infrastructure projects. This role operates in a Seller/Doer capacity—leading client development while delivering high-quality environmental services across the full lifecycle of projects.

Requirements

• Established relationships with data center operators/developers and other large-scale clients.
• Demonstrated success securing new environmental or development-support projects through strong Seller/Doer performance.
• Broad technical experience in environmental permitting, site assessments, multi-disciplinary compliance, and infrastructure planning for data storage facilities and their power assets.
• Proven ability to guide, mentor, and support cross-functional teams delivering complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts to identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, utilities, independent power producers, and developers supporting data center and conventional power infrastructure growth.
• Provide and oversee environmental services for the siting, design, construction, and operation of data centers and other large-scale projects.
• Perform or manage tasks such as: Siting and routing
• Engineering studies and design
• Natural and cultural resource assessments
• Utility and infrastructure coordination
• Maintain and expand strong client relationships within both the digital infrastructure and conventional energy markets, demonstrating a proven track record of winning work.
• Lead by example and mentor staff, drawing on direct experience performing the same technical, environmental, and permitting responsibilities.
• Support the development and growth of high-performing teams focused on data center and large-scale project development and environmental services.
