The purpose of this job is to complete final processes on the cable using a variety of large machines specific to order / products.

Responsibilities

Review documentation / work orders
Set up, monitor and operate variety of large machines including large armorer, cabling machine, parallel and strip line, and pulling eyes, and take off / payout including but not limited to the following tasks:
Move, load and unload variety sized reels of product and component parts
Guide and thread cable into machinery
Splice wires
Cap and tie down ends, wrap product
Monitor quality
Operate fork truck and change propane cylinders
Document
Communicate with supervisor
Clean work area
Train employees
Participate in team meetings
Other tasks as assigned
