About The Position

As a Complex Field Property Adjuster at Allstate, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders by conducting on-site inspections, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims efficiently. This role focuses on water losses and requires strong customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to negotiate settlements. You will utilize various platforms and software, including Xactimate, to manage claims and ensure timely documentation.

Requirements

• Mid-level Property & Casualty License
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience as an outside adjuster, preferably 4 years
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating
• Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on high-quality work
• Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a 6/12 pitch.

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $25,000 in losses

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections and investigate coverage.
• Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently.
• Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.
• Maintain clear records of work in a claims system and ensure timely documentation of each claim.
