About The Position

The Large Group Sales Executive - Group Medicare sells health insurance and related products to new large group accounts (generally 300+ contracts). The Large Group Sales Executive - Employer Group work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Large Group Sales Executive - Group Medicare fully understands all product lines, sells to targeted clients, and identifies potential new clients in a specified territory or geographic area. This role begins to influence department's strategy, makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and performs work without direction, exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience
  • Active health insurance license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial and self-sufficient
  • Proven sales success in the health and wellness solutions industry
  • Ability to travel regularly, by land and air, throughout defined sales region
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Maintain personal vehicle liability insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling Medicare Advantage products
  • Active life insurance license
  • Prior sales experience in the health and wellness solutions industry working with large group segment brokers and employers
  • Experience working with public sector and/or labor organizations
