Your Opportunity: Taylor Visual Impressions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Print/Press Operator to join our team in Fenton, MO!

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, job tickets, and follow directions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills (open, close, print files).
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to lift 40–50 pounds regularly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating an HP Indigo press
  • At least 1 year as a Press Feeder or 3 years in a production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust printing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Read and interpret job orders to determine quantities, paper specifications, colors, and special instructions.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked and gather correct materials for each job.
  • Load and unload paper stock and set up print files.
  • Monitor product quality; collect and inspect samples during runs to identify adjustments needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines to maintain quality and minimize downtime.
  • Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow standard work methods and prescribed safety practices to ensure efficient and safe production.
