About The Position

Vomela is seeking experienced Wide Format Print Production Specialists / Digital Print Technicians to join our team in Springfield, VA. In this role, you will operate and maintain wide-format and flatbed printing equipment, perform digital cutting and finishing tasks, and ensure accurate kitting and packing of materials for some of the nation’s most recognizable brands. As part of one of North America’s largest and most diverse print organizations—with 20+ locations and over 1,300 employees—you’ll work with industry-leading technology to produce retail graphics, corporate environments, transit applications, and large-format displays. Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in wide-format or digital print production
  • Experience with one or more of the following: wide-format printing, flatbed printing, small-format digital, mounting, lamination, or bindery
  • Ability to work independently while producing consistent, high-quality output
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic mechanical understanding and ability to troubleshoot production issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

  • Review job tickets for specifications and production requirements
  • Set up wide-format and flatbed printers for each job
  • Prepare materials, substrates, and digital files for output
  • Verify job details and clarify questions with supervisors or account coordinators
  • Operate wide-format and flatbed printing equipment
  • Perform digital cutting, trimming, mounting, lamination, and other finishing tasks
  • Monitor print quality, color accuracy, alignment, and consistency throughout production
  • Maintain speed, accuracy, and high-quality output in a deadline-driven environment
  • Execute kitting and packing operations to prepare jobs for shipping or installation
  • Communicate proactively with customer service regarding job status or issues
  • Organize, package, and label completed materials accurately
  • Move completed jobs to designated areas for shipping or next-stage production
  • Prepare customer samples and report shortages or print variances
  • Clean and maintain all printing and finishing equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, including calibration, lubrication, and basic repairs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production workspace
