JOB SUMMARY Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.

Responsibilities

Quality Control - # of rejected pieces
Efficiency - # of pieces completed per hour
Preparing or creating electronic art files
Ensuring the digital art and graphic elements are complete, consistent, and compatible with the prepress & RIP processes.
Reads order to verify processes required, quantity to be run, and substrate to be used
Creating layout for customer approval and coordination of job package for production
Ripping files for digital print on large / grand format printers
Creating and reviewing proofs and monitoring quality during production
Performing color calibrations, daily equipment maintenance and restocking
Performing basic color management tasks and operating digital presses to expected production standards
Maintaining assigned documentation and schedules
Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime on short notice.
Input labor hours into Pace time keeping system.
Accurately enters time and job information into the Pace Collection System
Operate standard office equipment including copy machine.
Use safety equipment and protective clothing as directed: i.e., steel-toed shoes, back support device when working at your workstation or lifting, moving, or pushing objects, safety glasses when necessary.
Carries out conduct in accordance with all company policies, procedures, safety and applicable laws.
Performing any other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
