We are seeking motivated and service oriented Large Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team in Maine. As a Large Commercial Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships, assessing client needs, and reviewing client policies to assure they have the best coverage.

Requirements

  • Maine Property & Casualty License
  • 5+ years of experience handling large commercial insurance accounts
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (CMS software, Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary service contact for assigned large commercial lines clients delivering responsive and high-quality account support
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, new business placement, cancellations, and account reviews
  • Lead the renewal process by gathering updated exposure data, preparing marketing submissions, and coordinating quotes with carriers
  • Analyze coverage and identify potential gaps providing recommendations to ensure clients maintain appropriate protection
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, producers and carriers to support account retention and growth
  • Prepare and issue certificates of insurance and other policy documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support clients through the claims process, assisting with claim reporting, documentation, and carrier communication
  • Partner with producers on account strategy and renewal planning, and opportunities to expand coverage or service
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity records in the agency management system in accordance with compliance and E&O standards
  • Coordinate with internal team members, including processors to ensure timely and effective client service
