At this time, we are looking for an experienced Cabler Operator to join our AmerCable Team.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Basic mechanical abilities, ability to understand and complete work instructions.
Non-climate-controlled workplace
Walking
Standing (concrete surfaces)
Use of hands and arms for manipulating tools, machinery and equipment
Lifting and pulling (up to 50 lbs)
Stooping and squatting

Responsibilities

To twist together insulated conductors and strands, and/or tape conductors and strands to diameter and quality standards set forth by the work instructions/router.
To monitor and improve product quality.
To assist in operating the machine according to machine work instructions/SOP.
Produce product “on time” per current work schedule.
Comply with all safety rules at all times.
Comply with AmerCable Employee Manual at all times.
To run multiple machines within the team area.
MAINTAIN ACCEPTABLE HOUSEKEEPING AT ALL TIMES.
