Requirements

  • College degree in any IT Discipline, or 2+ years work experience.
  • Must be able to work independently at times with limited supervision.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and imaging tools.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware setup, software installation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required (up to 25 lbs).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, image, and configure new laptops according to company standards.
  • Migrate user data and settings from old devices to new laptops.
  • Schedule and coordinate laptop deployments with employees and departments.
  • Collect, inventory, and decommission old laptops following security protocols.
  • Provide first-level support during and after deployment to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Document asset transfers and update the inventory management system.
  • Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot deployment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT security policies throughout the refresh process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with management to implement them.
  • Have excellent customer service skills, be willing to take ownership of a ticket, and engage other departments if necessary to resolve.
  • Depending on workload, participate with the broader IT support team in resolving end-user issues and developing a working knowledge of our software, infrastructure, and protocols.
