About The Position

Lanier Technical College is conducting a search for a part-time, non benefits-eligible, FLSA-exempt position for an Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor at the Hall County Campus. The position is effective for the Spring Semester 2026, beginning January 12, 2026. The targeted salary is paid in a lump sum based on contact hours. A background check is part of the selection process.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Associate's Degree in a medical field from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Three years of work experience in a position related to Phlebotomy.
  • Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the courses assigned.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in tutoring or instruction of students in a post-secondary environment.
  • Familiarity with Blackboard LMS.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and teach classes as assigned in Phlebotomy.
  • Direct student learning and assess student progress in achieving the requirements of the program.
  • Provide professional instruction based on approved course syllabus.
  • Ensure students attain the objectives of each course.
  • Evaluate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.
  • Administer and grade class examinations within stated timelines.
  • Maintain classrooms and laboratories in accordance with approved management plans.
  • Maintain records of student grades and files.
  • Attend meetings, in-service training, workshops, and seminars as needed.
  • Observe and enforce the institution's policies and regulations.
