About The Position
The Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University is seeking a full-time Language Instructor/Teaching Assistant in Japanese. This position is expected to begin on August 1, 2025, and will extend through June 30, 2026. The instructor will teach small-group sections in Japanese language classes under the supervision of a course head, assist in preparing class materials, grading, and providing individual assistance to students. This is a term appointment with the possibility of renewal based on performance and curricular needs.
